Bridge Types & Solutions
We design reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel and composite bridges, as well as pedestrian and walkway bridges. Each scheme is tailored to site constraints, traffic needs, and programme, with a focus on economy, durability, and ease of construction.
Superstructure Design & Analysis
From girders, slabs, and box sections to segmental and precast beam systems, our designs consider load paths, dynamic effects, deflection, vibration, and fatigue. Advanced modelling is paired with clear drawings and calculations to support efficient fabrication and installation.
Substructure, Foundations & Scour
We engineer abutments, piers, pile caps, deep foundations, and ground improvements to suit geotechnical conditions and hydraulic demands. Detailing includes bearings, joints, and scour protection to safeguard long-term performance.
Construction Methodology & Temporary Works
We plan practical erection methods, launching, incremental launching, staged construction, falsework, and lifting plans and integrating temporary works, sequencing, access, and safety so on-site operations proceed predictably and safely.
Assessment, Strengthening & Rehabilitation
For existing bridges, we perform condition assessments, load ratings, and rehabilitation design. Strengthening may include section enlargement, FRP/steel plate works, bearing/joint replacement, and deck repairs to extend service life with minimal disruption
Standards, Approvals & Deliverables
Designs are prepared to JKR requirements and relevant BS/Eurocode (and AASHTO where applicable), with submission packages comprising calculations, GA/details, method notes, and maintenance guidance to support authority approvals and contractor execution.
